EMS Chief Suprun addressed thousands speaking at the Texas EMS Conference in Austin, Texas. He also spoke at a school shooter prevention program in Florida over the past week.

Suprun has crossed the country and globe speaking on a wide variety of topics and teaching in six foreign countries. He has also taught in most of the United States as a conference speaker and presenter.

He has contributed to dozens of articles in magazines and several textbooks. Those titles include Emergency Medical Services, EMS Professional, Fire Chief, FireEMS, and JEMS. These articles cover topics on airway management, cardiology, EMS education, and disaster response. A bibliography of some of his journal articles is here.

EMS Chief Suprun Has Long History Teaching Next Generation

EMS Chief Suprun has taught and written on mass casualty incident management for more than two decades. He is considered a Subject Matter Expert by the federal government. He has written for both textbooks and fire and EMS professional magazines.

His Google Scholar account notes a number of peer reviewed journal contributions.

Prior to joining Marshall County EMS, Suprun was working on the mental health aspects of mass casualty incident management with public safety partners in the United Kingdom.

Earlier this year, Suprun asked the board to rename the Marshall County EMS Training Room in honor of Roy Matheny.

Suprun is also working to have 911 Mobile Healthcare™ up and running in early 2023 to extend Marshall County EMS capabilities.
