911 Mobile Healthcare™ Partners To EMS

911 Mobile Healthcare™ partners with MCEMS to develop new services for Marshall. The program will place healthcare providers into the community on a non-emergent basis.

The goal is for preventative healthcare before emergencies happen and provide healthcare options.

Community paramedicine systems exist across the country to provide greater primary care. They also come with a significant cost savings to the taxpayer. This happens by avoiding costly emergency room visits.

911 Mobile Healthcare™: First Step For Future Partnerships

EMS Chief Chris Suprun hailed the partnership as an opportunity to lower costs.

Suprun said, “this is good for Marshall neighbors, Marshall EMS, good for our other health partners.”

The partnership agreement costs Marshall County EMS District neither capital, nor operating costs. It will also provide revenue to Marshall County EMS on certain patient milestones.

911 Mobile Healthcare™ is a Community Healthcare organization focused on prevention and prehospital medical care.

What is community health? And how does it affect the lives of those in your area?

Community health is the intersection of healthcare, economics and social interaction. Many people are unaware of the role this type of healthcare plays in their everyday lives. Join us as we explore the impact of community health on your neighborhood—and what you can do to improve it.

Community health is a medical specialty. It focuses on the physical and mental well-being of people in a specific geographic area. This subsection of public health includes programs to maintain and improve health. It also helps prevent the spread of diseases and prepare for natural disasters.
